RSSCyclist killed by semi-truck after avoiding dooring
This happened on the near north side this morning and it makes me sick to my stomach to think about this rider and their family.
seriously be careful out there, y’all. it scares me to think how heedless/inattentive/rash i sometimes am on my bike.
God, guys, I almost got doored for the first time the other day and it was terrifying—and it wasn’t even a super busy road or a particularly busy time. Someone could, at any time, be thoughtless with their stupid car door and kill a bicyclist.
