If you’re a cis man who wants to marry a trans man, you can do it in Texas but not California. How that’s possible: while neither state has legalized gay marriage, Texas (and most of the deep red states) don’t recognize sex change operations. So in those states, trans people are whatever they were on their original birth certificate. Go to the deep south for your trans marriage needs!
