Google's new "Wave"; was the name actually... →
Curious if the name of Google’s new application called “Wave” might be Whedon-inspired, I watched the developer preview… just a few minutes in to the video and I became certain of it. The presentation includes the lead programming engineers and project managers making multiple Firefly/Serenity references and even the “Wave” program itself...

Can Wearing Your Bra Cause Cancer?! →
aja:
Based on the results of this study, the link between bras and breast cancer is about three times greater than the link between cigarette smoking and cancer.
Wow, that looks pretty definitive. 3/4 women who wear bras 24-hours a day develop breast cancer. Only 1/168 who rarely wear bras.

AWESOME.
See, this is precisely the problem with government hand-outs. You end up with all these people thinking they will always be supported by our tax dollars without ever having to actually work or contribute to society in any way. We just perpetuate the problem and they will never learn! They just get lazy. And if you think we’re doing them any favors, we’re...

This was one of the big objections that I was taught to make against evolution and a non-theistic view of how life was...
